There Ain’t No Pork Chop and Police Dogs Have No Teeth!
“Come, Ferrous!” “Here, Ferrous!” “Sit, Ferrous!”
Does that sound ridiculous? Not if you are in control of our Politically Correct (PC) culture. This is a dangerous ideology of oxymoronism that seems to have infected the entire world. And that is exactly the purpose of the Frankfurt School. If we allow them to make our every thought seem inferior to some overarching idealism of a few people we will quickly become somebody’s slaves.
The Frankfurt School? What do they have to do with PC? Well, this Marxist “think tank” was established in Germany in 1923. By the time they moved to the USA in 1933 PC was firmly established as “cultural Marxism.” For years most laughed at the idea, but it began to take hold in the 1960’s driven by the media. Today it is a factor to be reckoned with. What this culture does is remove the power of thought and resulting expression from control by each individual. Control is passed to the PC Marxist culture we’re entering and our individual freedom is being destroyed. It’s not bad enough that Seventh Century minds scattered throughout the Middle East but centered on the lawless border between Afghanistan and Pakistan have removed many of our taken-for-granted freedoms; now we have the closer looming threat of PC.
Here we are in the joyous (supposed to be) Christmas season and our own Surgeon General comes up with the idea Santa Claus should not be the chubby, lovable little fellow we all knew as children. And what about the movement that started in Australia forbidding Santa to say the familiar “Ho, Ho, Ho!” And every minority group including atheists, Jews, fundamentalist Christians, women (who want to be Santa), Muslims, and any other individual or group wants to jump on the hit list against Christmas. Now we aren’t supposed to say “Merry Christmas”; we must replace it with something like “Happy Holidays.” A friend suggested this greeting to include Hanukah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas as “Merry Hanakwannamas.” Does that qualify as PC?
Now to “Come Ferrous” in the opening sentence. That refers to the recent plight of the hog mascot of Allentown, PA’s new baseball team. One of the most popular names in a contest was Pork Chop; the team’s management liked it and announced the name. Guess what? Several people remembered this was a long ago slap at Puerto Rican workers and said they were offended. Management did what all those intimidated by any PC whim do and immediately changed the name to Ferrous. Actually, Ferrous was the most popular name submitted, but that’s not the point. Once a decision was made the managers should have stuck to their decision and not allowed a small group of people, no matter who they are, to dictate what the team should do.
And what about toothless K-9 dogs for police to use when restraining criminals? It seems that some police departments in Wales are so fearful of being sued by criminals they have decided to muzzle all their police dogs. The dogs are being retrained to head-butt the suspect amidships and thus overcome them. If the criminal has a gun, will that hurt enough to disable the crook? This may be the worst case of PC I’ve seen because it endangers police officers as well as the general public they are supposed to protect.
Every citizen in the Western World should pay attention to PC thinking and do what they can to bury it. What to do? Mount your own protest to counter whatever whining caused a PC decision. Most of us think PC is just a laughable ridiculous situation. But you have a right to live in a culture which allows your God-given individual action. Learn all you can about Political Correctness and encourage your friends to learn and take action whenever this threat to our freedom arises. If we take no action we will all become slaves to the state. Government will be telling us how to act, how to think, and what we can say.
