How To Catch A Cheating Spouse
If you want to know how to catch a cheating spouse, you probably already have good reason to suspect cheating. In that case, you may find the following useful. However, I have to recommend against reading this article if you are just curious. This is the kind of information that will get you thinking in a certain way - a way that can destroy trust and harm a relationship. With that warning, here are six ways to catch a cheating spouse.
1. Look For Birth Control Pills
If she has birth control pills hidden in the dresser, and you had a vasectomy, she may be hiding more than just the pills. Woman do take birth control pills for other medical reasons, but why wouldn't she tell you? You may want to investigate a bit further before you ask her. And start looking for other signs of course.
2. Investigate If He Takes More Business Trips
If he starts taking more business trips than normal, it is possibly a ruse. Verify the trips are real, but also verify what he did during those trips. If he says that he met with a friend, for example, find an excuse to call that friend and check out his story. If he says he wasn't at the hotel when you called because he went to a football game, see if the tickets show up on the credit card bill.
3. See If She Has A New Cell Phone
A land-line results in a bill coming to the house, making it difficult to hide who has been calling who. A prepaid cell phone, on the other hand, can be hidden away and have no bill listing calls made or received. Although a new phone doesn't necessarily mean an affair, there are few good reasons for someone to get one without telling their significant other.
4. Do The Sniff Test
If a man leaves the house smelling like his favorite shampoo, and then returns that night smelling like a different brand, he may be cheating. Women's noses are generally more sensitive to these things, but a man might also notice if his wife or girlfriend comes home smelling like she just took a shower. Unless she goes to the gym, why would she have taken a shower? You might have to ask.
5. Get To The Answering Machine First
When you arrive home together, does he hurry to the phone to check messages or delete the record of calls from the caller-id? Ask him to carry something in next time, and then beat him to the phone. Alternately, you can set up a caller ID device on another phone where he won't notice it.
6. Visit Her Co-Workers
Do your wife's co-workers seem uncomfortable around you? They may know things that you don't know. They might also be hearing bad things about you from your spouse. Are they surprised to see you when you stop by? Do they look at you nervously? A few surprise visits might be a good idea, just to see what is going on - and whether your wife is there.
Again I have to warn that this is good information on how to catch a cheating spouse, but only if you really have a good reason to suspect it, or strong intuition. Otherwise, forget you read this before you start seeing everything as suspicious.
