An Actor’s Life: Under A Microscope
Are you interested in becoming an actor? Actors have the life, don’t they? Fame, fortune, attention…doesn’t that sound wonderful? To many it does but they’re not quite ready for the reality of the microscope that actors are forced to live their life under.
An actor may have fancy clothes, cars, mansions and go to all the best parties but they also are watched very closely by the public. Being chased by paparazzi every time they step in public, having lies printed in tabloids or gossip columns and having very little privacy can be difficult. Many celebrities barely get a free moment to themselves and find the freedom they thought they would have by earning a lot of money isn’t really there because they cannot step out into public without being followed. For some, it’s a life that’s not all it is cracked up to be. There are many benefits to leading the actor’s life but there are many negative aspects as well.
Many American born or American famous celebrities choose to live abroad and only return for work. This allows them a little bit of freedom when they are between projects. Many hire bodyguards to allow them a little bit of freedom but it’s a life that can be difficult. Many actors describe tuning out the newspapers and magazine or online articles printed about them because they have no choice for their own peace of mind. Before taking the plunge into the world of the rich and famous, ask yourself if you really want to lose your privacy.
