Site Rubix Tip: Three Steps To Internet Marketing Success!

This Site Rubix tip will help you to build and market your website. This tip, of course, is relevant to developing and promoting any website.

For those of you who are not familiar with it, Site Rubix is a website builder that allows you to create a multimedia website in five to ten minutes. Since all the technology is invisible, anyone can build any site they like with it. You simply drag-and-drop text, graphics, and scripts in a template.

You need just three steps for your website to succeed. By following these three steps, your visitors will return time and again. They'll also recommend your website to others. In addition, you'll get noticed by the search engines. In short, you'll also be able to earn from your new site.
The key to website success is to use the K.I.S.S. formula. This acronym means "keep it short and simple." Most successful businesses are simple. Simplicity ensures organization. The more complex an organization, the more ways for something to go wrong. When one line of endeavor collapses, it also wrecks all other lines of effort. This is because an organization, by definition, is a synergistic structure.

The medieval theologian William of Occam expressed the idea: "Entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity." This logical axiom for parsing the truth of a philosophy can also be applied to an internet marketing business. It might be rephrased as "Do not multiply the elements of your website or your marketing beyond what it is necessary to build your business."

Our Site Rubix tip, then, is to keep things simple.
There are three steps to make this possible.

STEP 1:
Stay focused. Besides choosing a niche, like cooking, drill down to be even more specific, like, say, vegetarian cooking. The more narrow your theme, the better your shot at success. You can even narrow your sub-niche into smaller groupings. For example, with vegetarian cooking, you can split it into raw food diet combinations and cooked food recipes. While your website can be based on the broader term, "vegetarian cooking," it can then be sub-divided, like rooms in a house that serve a different purpose.
Most people with an online business try to do too much. They erroneously believe that if they cast a wide net, they'll catch more customers. This is simply not true. The broader your theme, the better your chance of disappearing on the search engines. With searches for a popular term running into millions, your single website can be easily lost in a search directory. It's much better to fish in a small pond. The less fierce the competition, the more essential you are to serve the needs of the marketplace. You reduce competition by specializing more than others.

STEP 2:
Offer content. The internet thrives because it is an information-intensive resource that anyone can access from anywhere in the world. People do not come online to buy products. They come online to get information. They will visit your website if you offer them information.
"Content," as many gurus claim, "is king." Besides pleasing your human visitors more, giving them a reason to revisit your website again and again to sample your fresh content, a high content website will also win more favor with the major search engines.
People find your website through search engines, and the more pages you offer the search engine spiders, the more you will be ranked as an authority website.
Content gets you noticed: by people and by the search engines. It's a simple, yet powerful way to put your virtual store on the map.

STEP 3:
Link up. Reciprocal linking is another way for you to get search engine attention. These links should be relevant. Going back to our example of vegetarian cooking, you don't want links that point to websites on cars, baseball, and the gardening. Basically, you want links to other websites that have something either to do with cooking or a vegetarian lifestyle. Your choice of links also depends on the philosophical theme of your website. You'll bewilder your visitors if you promote websites that contradict the principles you're advocating on your website. Stay relevant in all aspects of your branding.
In summary, the Site Rubix tip is to keep things simple. The three steps of focus, content, and relevant linking will create a simple organization for online
