Tips - Free Stuff or Cheap Deals Guide

There are plenty of free or cheap deals out there. All it takes is a little bit of your time to save a lot of money. Here are a few tips:

1.)Go on the internet - There are many free shippings and promotional discounts found on the internet. Before you go rush out to the nearest store to buy something, why not take a few minutes and see if you can find it online cheaper.

2.)Free after rebates - A lot of software and hardware offers are free after rebates. You would usually have to buy the stuff at full price, and then wait for your rebate check, which usually takes up to 2 months. I know a lot of office supply/equipment stores offer these rebates. It is not difficult to fill out rebate forms.

3.)Free iPods / Giftcards - These are technically not free. Typically, you have to sign up for an offer (credit cards, magazine subscriptions, etc.), and then you have to get 5 people (I recommend friends) to sign up for an offer to get your free iPod or Giftcard. When that is all done, it usually takes up to 1-2 months to get your gift. I think this is only a good deal if you actually like what you signed up for.

4.)Samples - Why not try before you buy? Many sample offers are no strings attached. Simply fill out your name and address so they can mail you the stuff. Samples ranging from cereal to perfumes. You can easily find these on search engines by typing in "free samples."

5.)Free advice - Don't pay hundreds for e-books that offer advice. I wouldn't even pay a dollar for it. This website EzineArticles alone has plenty of free advice. If you want to know how to train your dog, just go to a search engine, and type in "how to train your dog." Again, only read the ones that give you full advice, and not the ones that tell you to buy their books to learn "everything."

6.)Prepaid CellPhones - If you don't use a cellphone often, but still need one, I highly recommend going for a prepaid cellphone. Regular basic cellphone plans are usually $30+ per month. If you just need to make couple calls, maybe prepaying $5 for a prepaid cellphone per month is all you really need.

7.)Car Insurance - As you know, these cost an arm and a leg. Car insurance companies offer free rate quotes, but believe it or not, most people think it is a hassle so they buy whatever insurance plan that that comes across. Take an hour of your life to look through a couple car insurance companies, and see which one fit your needs at the lowest rate possible. I recommend talking to your friends to see what insurance companies they use, and get feedbacks.
