What Seeds are You Sowing in Your Life?

All of the great religions and philosophies of the world have as one of their basic principles that you reap according to what you sow. In other words it is universally accepted that you have a considerable amount of control over the quality of life that you enjoy.

Everything you think and everything you do contributes some influence toward the quality of your life. Everything that you are experiencing in your life today is the resulting effect of some causal behavior that you are doing today or have done in the past, however most people don't realize what the behavior is that is producing those effects in their life.

I am going to focus on three common bad effects that you may be experiencing. I am discussing these bad effects because I assume that these are the things that you most likely want to change or remove. The good things are probably effects that you want to keep so we'll leave them alone.

Bad Effect #1. Lack of Money

One of the most common complaints from people all over the world is that they don't have enough money. Even though the average weekly income in the USA is about the same as the average annual income in India people in the U.S. still feel that they have too little money. What they are really saying is that they don't have enough money to live the lifestyle that they would like to live.

There are two sides to the money problem; your earning habits and your spending habits.

You can increase you earning by becoming more valuable to your market place and by increasing the effectiveness of your marketing to that market place. This is true whether you are an employee or in your own business.

You can improve your spending habits by becoming fully aware of your spending and choosing to follow a spending plan. If you make saving or investing a primary part of that plan then you will always have money.

Bad Effect #2. Unhappiness

People who are unhappy are people who believe that happiness comes from something outside of themselves. In reality happiness is a state of mind and therefore it comes from within you. If you develop the thought habits of appreciating the good things in your life rather than focusing on the bad things then you will soon be happy.

One of the side effects of this will be that you will then attract more good things into your life.

Bad Effect #3. Being Overweight

Weight loss is a huge industry with billions of dollars being spent each year by people trying to find ways to lose weight. In reality the principles governing body weight are very simple. If you are overweight it is because you have a habit of eating and/or drinking too much, or too much of the wrong foods, for your exercise habits and level of metabolism.

Being fat is not an accident. In fact you have to spend considerable time and money each and every day in order to stay fat.

It's not that people don't know how to lose weight. What overweight people are looking for is some magic that will allow them to lose weight without giving up their bad eating and drinking habits.

A far better approach would be to accept that you reap what you sow and start sowing good habits. Any habit can be changed with determination and an inspiring goal. If you practice good eating and drinking habits, and exercise some patience, then you will become slim in a reasonable period of time.

In Summary

These three bad circumstances, along with all other undesirable aspects of your life, are the result of thoughts and actions that you are currently taking or have taken in the past. If you want to be sure that your life is getting better each day then make sure that you are planting the seeds for improvement.
