Finding Costa Blanca Rentals and Holidays
Costa Blanca Rentals and Holidays – The most popular way to book a family holiday on the Costa Blanca these days is by using the internet. Booking cheap flights on the internet is now a breeze and most people are happy to take on the task. Booking transfers from the airport to your resort is also a simple process and finding a suitable resort and property is made easy by the huge choice that is now available.
The Costa Blanca – Comprising about two hundred kilometres of the coastline of south-eastern Spain, the Costa Blanca also has a large hinterland and the whole region offers plenty of variety for the visiting holidaymaker. The sun, sea and sand of the traditional resorts will be enough for some, others may want to explore a little further and the more adventurous tourist will get a much more rewarding experience from his holiday. There are some wonderful historical cities to explore, some charming and isolated villages to discover and enjoy and some stunning natural parks to marvel at.
Finding a Flight – While it has always been possible to book your own flights when taking a holiday, in recent years this has become a more common practise. With most households these days having internet access, booking flights is both easy and quick. The main airports for the Costa Blanca are Alicante and Murcia (San Javier), Alicante is convenient for the whole of the Costa Blanca, while Murcia is better for the southern area and for the Costa Calida. Don’t book your flight until you have chosen your holiday.
Choosing a Location – The choice of location for your holiday will depend somewhat on the type of holiday you are seeking. Is it a quiet, relaxing holiday, a touring holiday, a late night partying holiday or a family holiday with the kids? Check out some of the excellent information sites on the internet or read a decent guide book and be sure to look at a map as well, some Costa Blanca rentals are advertised as “near to the beach” but you may have to hire a car to get there!
Finding a Property – The easiest way to find a huge selection of available properties is to head once again for the computer. Log onto the internet and select your favourite search engine (Google, Yahoo, MSN), type in the words “Costa Blanca Rentals” and you will be presented with a mind boggling array of websites offering exactly that. Take a look at some of the best sites and find properties in and around your chosen resort, double check with street maps etc to find the perfect property for your holiday, don’t take the advertisers word that it is “close to the beach” – make sure that it is!
Booking – At some point you will need to come to a final decision on your holiday property. Whilst you are looking you should make a short list of potential rentals and bookmark the relevant websites in your favourites folder so you can find them easily later. E-mail or telephone to check on the availability of each property and you can then make your final choice – don’t forget to negotiate the price, these are often flexible. Prior to paying a deposit, check on flights to make sure there are some available and then also book these once you have confirmation of your holiday booking.
Alicante and Murcia Airport Transfers – It is generally possible to find a taxi when arriving at either Alicante or Murcia airport, however you may prefer to book an airport transfer before you go. This can be done online just as easily as booking flights and rental property. Go to your favourite search engine (probably Google) and type in ‘Murcia Airport Transfers’ or ‘Alicante Airport Transfers’ and you will be presented with a variety of companies who specialise in this field. Get some quotes and select the one which suits you best and remember to give them the address of your property beforehand.
Preparing for Your Holiday – The old style package holidays didn’t just consist of rooms, flights and transport, most of them also included some sort of itinerary for your stay, perhaps some sightseeing and organised trips. You can also do this for yourself and once again you can use the vast resource of the internet. Search for some tourist information on the area and check out recommended attractions, you may even be able to pre-book tickets, also you will want to find a good road map to help you find your way around and to locate beaches, commercial centres and other facilities.
Bon Voyage or Bien Viaje – Now is the time to fly off for your Costa Blanca holiday, you have made all your preparations – relax and enjoy.
