Artificial Flowers versus Fresh Flowers
There are several pros and cons between artificial flowers and fresh flowers. The first thing is with artificial flowers there is nothing to clean, no water to get spilt, no dirt to prune, just set it down and go about your daily activities. Another good aspect about artificial flowers is the moment you have bought it, there is absolutely no reason to spend another penny buying the same thing, and it will remain for a very long time. They may require a little dusting as time goes by, but this can easily be achieved by rubbing them with a slightly damp cloth, or giving them a quick soak with some soapy liquid. Note not all types artificial flowers can be washed. They will never get too big for their pots or vases as the case may be, and will definitely not need any caring for.
Artificial Flowers make a beautiful gift for a special someone, because they will have them for a very long time after the event, unlike real flowers that will definitely wither and die.They might be pricey but are worth it in the long run, because it is like a long term investment where you can see your moneys worth for a long time to come. Another good point to note is they are readily available, you do not need to go to the Florist to get a creation, there are many shops which stock these and they come in a wide variety to suit any occasion, whether it is a new baby, or Easter or a wedding anniversary, there are lots to choose from.
Fresh flowers on the other hand need special daily care, but they smell so natural and look so gorgeous that a lot of people would rather spend their money on these than on artificial flowers. Even though they are aware it will only last a week or two. A beautiful bunch of say fresh red roses given to someone on a special occasion would probably be more cherished than an artificial arrangement, because for some reason it feels more loving than a bunch of artificial flowers.
In the world of work, artificial flowers in the office definitely seems to outnumber the demand for fresh flowers. It is more wise to buy artificial flowers especially large artificial trees, fern and palm are a good example, to beautify the work environment, without the worry of having to water them on a daily basis and it also eliminates the problem of arriving in the office on a Monday morning only to find that the plants are almost dead because they did not get enough water over the weekend, not to mention the problem of dead leaves and petals all over the floor.
