Pay for the Joy Ride

If you feel that no one should come between what your eyes can see as the farthest ahead and in your rear view mirror.

Do you crib for a life which is much less shared by the constant irritants and the distracters? Do you pine for the roads where within your sight all you see is a glistening road, flanked by the majestic palms. Are you a road dreamer, who has car of his choice, speed of his choice, road of his choice and no one to interrupt the mélange?

Few roads in the country can boast of being your dream roads. We are now into the age of expressways. When you pay and you would pay through your nose to put your speed machine on to a decent drive. We have some snatches of the life ahead on the road now available.

Golden Quadrilateral and other expressway stretches like Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Meerut, Kolkata-Dhanbad, and more are taking off to be available to the public over the next few years. The distance like for instance Delhi-Chandigarh, over 250 km now covered in about six hours, could be done in less than three. The expressways will facilitate a zoom passage faster than could be done with one of the fastest trains in the country.

But all this will be accessible to you at a toll of say Rs 300 for a distance of 250 km. well, do not worry, the parallel highways will always be available should you choose not to shell of that kind of money. Or should we say, should you choose to reach your destination a little while later.

The high speed roads are those who cannot afford to lose time. They are allowed a facility to move uninterrupted by the slow movers and at a price which is affordable when time matters. And of course, if you feel that no one should come between what your eyes can see as the farthest ahead and in your rear view mirror, and also the arm on your speedometer. The romance will be paid for too.

Thus beating the Delhi traffic, Mumbai traffic, Bangalore traffic, Kolkata traffic etc with high speed corridors will soon be a reality.
