Do Pheromones Work? Are There Pheromones for Men to Attract Women?
After reading so much of the hype online surrounding the use of pheromones to attract the opposite sex, I decided to conduct my own informal and empirical evaluation into the true affects of these products.
Prior to conducting my empirical pheromone review, I researched many of the clinical studies available on the internet, and kept coming back to the same set of conclusions. That is, there are primarily two schools of thought in the field of pheromone research that have spoken on the issue of attraction;
The 1st School of Thought:
Scientists really don't know. They have insufficient hard clinical data available to actually prove whether pheromones still have a role in human attraction or not.
The 2nd School of Thought:
Based upon theory an extrapolation, alleges that pheromones do in fact have "some affect" upon "some people," however scientists really don't know to "what extent," nor "why" some respond to them and others do not.
The next time you read clearly exaggerated claims about "proof" that pheromones attract the opposite sex, keep this in mind, there is sound "theory," but not scientific proof at this time. Those sales pages all over the Internet that guarantee their pheromone products results are backed up by clinical research, they are lying to you!
The fact that pheromone research in general is in its infancy, is precisely what drove me to conduct an empirical evaluation into the effectiveness of these pheromone products. Quite simply, wear the products and then interact with people, while carefully observing and notating others reactions. This is a time tested scientific method of evaluation.
The results of my 12 day empirical pheromone review were very interesting. Without going into the full results of the review here, for reasons of brevity let me share the top three most significant test results, while testing certain pheromone products at work.
1. After applying attractant pheromones at work, my office manager summoned me to her office for a personal conversation, complimented my work, and then encouraged me to apply for an upcoming supervisory position. This was completely out of character for her.
2. During my first break of my work day while standing outside my office, I had a very provocative encounter with two twenty-something young ladies, who specifically complemented my "cologne." This encounter was also very unique, and has never happened to me before.
3. During my lunch break at work, a co-worker clearly out of my league, speaks to me for the first time, things become very personal, and she confesses she wished she could find a man such as I for herself! This was completely out of character for her as well.
After evaluating the results from my twelve day empirical pheromone review process, I was able to come to the following conclusions based upon my observations.
Simply put, I have observed that certain pheromone products clearly do "something!" When these products were applied there was a clear "response" by those of the opposite sex around me. I cannot explain the "how" or "why" of this, nor can the scientists explain it with solid proof, but as a practical matter the application of various attractant pheromones did generate a clear and observable "result!"
Select pheromone products did bring high levels of attention from females when applied. Women did more frequently approach "me" to initiate conversations, and showed considerably more desire to interact with me in general. It is clear to see that certain pheromone products are likely to benefit the shy individual, or those that do not feel comfortable approaching others, especially members of the opposite sex.
