Well, there are a couple of things you can do. Of course, it is always good to know this fact. There are certain thing when done, can improve your chances of getting your ex back.
Yet, the opposite is also the same. There are also certain things that you should not do as doing them can hurt your chances of getting your ex back.
Perhaps, if you understand the following principle, you will be in a better position to avoid those common mistakes.
The principle is this, "People want what they do not have." I believe you might have heard of this before.
What this principle is trying to tell us is that when people cannot have something easily, they will usually have a stronger desire for it. But when people can have something very easily, they will not have such a strong desire. In fact, they may even try to push it away.
This principle is very applicable to your relationship. When people have just broken up, they tend to make some common mistakes like calling their ex over and over again.
You may be wondering why the above example is considered a mistake. Well, when you try to call your ex over and over again, it is considered as a sign of desperation.
In other words, it means your ex can get you easily if he/she wants, since you are the one who is desperate to get your ex back. So, according to the principle, since your ex can easily get you back, his/her desire for you will not be very strong.
