The backup tapes that have completed their useable life are removed by the companies and are not further utilized. These tapes are known as the “recycled tapes”.

After checking the total tape length, the damage on upper edge of the tape from start of the tape was detected at about eighty, two hundred seven, two hundred fifty and two hundred seventy two meters.
The reliability of the backup tape medium is associated with the working conditions of the environment, equipment used and most important the brand’s quality.
