Most of the time spelling mistakes are not due to lack of knowledge, its due to typing mistakes, so avoid such instances of mistakes, use Spell Check feature of your Word Processing tool. It will enhance the quality and standards of your articles.
4. Select Proper category – Some inexperienced or unaware people do a mistake of wrong category selection while doing submission of articles. They think, our motive is just to submit articles, and only that can result some content and back links for website. However, the truth is different. Articles submitted to wrong category will not result benefits for you, but yes that can decrease the standards of your website as well as portray lack of SEO expertise in webmasters.
5. Irrelevant Websites Selection – There are various types of article syndication websites. Some allows submission of articles from all areas. Whereas, some websites are specific that allows submission of articles from only specific subjects like Medicine, Health, Legal Affairs or technical IT issues. Therefore, if we are doing article submission to promote a website related to Tour & Travel, then submission of articles to a website that is dedicated to technological writings will not be beneficial.
6. Proper Formatting Issues – There are websites that support Rich Text Formatting of articles. Some websites also provide WYSIWYG editors for formatting of articles. In such cases, you should format the whole article before submission. Adding links on keywords can be a good practice, and addition of images can create positive impact on visitors and readers. There are websites that allows submission of articles with basic HTML formatting, in that case, you should provide content to those articles with basic HTML formatting included. This is among best practices of article submission.
7. Stress on Subcategory – We have already discussed the importance of category in article submission. One can see several subcategories inside each category on most of the website, choose proper sub category for maximum benefit, do not take it as wastage of time. In fact, if you do not select proper sub-category then you are wasting your time in article submission.
