Computer Says No!

Have you been awaiting the release of the 3G iPhone? If you have you will be ecstatic that the launch day is finally here. 3G iPhones went on sale this morning (11th July) at 8:02am in O2 stores, Carphone Warehouse and Apple Stores. If you were an early bird and shot up at the crack of dawn to queue up for your shiny new 3G iPhone you may have been sorely disappointed.

The 3G iPhone lived up to the hype as large queues gathered outside stores in the UK as it approached 8:02am this morning, little did the customers know the nightmare they would encounter as they tried to purchase the eagerly awaited 3G iPhone.

The nightmare unfolded as customers were kept waiting when all three stores stumbled upon delays due to system failures caused by the high demand for the new handset. Staff were forced to process orders manually which caused further delays.

Only a select few customers were lucky enough to leave stores with a 3G iPhone in their pocket. Photographers waiting to capture a snap of the first 3G iPhone owner leaving the Apple shop were still sat outside the store at 9:15am, as nobody had managed to successfully purchase one!

So count yourself lucky if you have managed to bag your very own 3G iPhone today, your one of a select few who has!
