Focus On Emotion-Not Logic

Knowing your customers and what they want to hear is a very important part of personal development. People like to hear things like 100 % money back guarantee. This helps a lot when people are considering trying something new. Most sales are based on emotion more than logic. A sense of security means a lot to people these days. There are a lot of people getting laid off and fired. With this on their minds, people need a sense of security and if they know they won’t lose any money they will be more willing to invest in your business or products.

With health issues on the rise people are really concerned about health issues. When people go to work and work a job that is really stressful it begins to affect their health. You can point out that with running their own business, or starting their own spoke in a business, they will be the boss, and they won’t be placed under as much stress. They can work when they want and take a few days off as needed.

How much money they can make is a very important consideration, as people like to know they will make enough to live the way they want to. They like to make sure they have enough money to pay their bills and buy whatever they need and want. The more they buy, the better they feel. When that great feeling goes away they buy something new. They like to be the ones that the neighbors try to keep up with.

Have you ever listened to children arguing over something? “That’s mine” you will hear them scream at the top of their lungs. Most adults are the same way we like things being ours. We like being able to show people something and say “that is mine.”

Most of the time when you are talking to people the decision to try what you are selling is more an emotional decision than a logical one. That is why it is more important to you that they make a quick decision rather than having time to think about it logically. Never pressure anyone into making a decision but the sooner they do the better chance you have of making the sale. Also if you can key into an emotion that is connected to your sales pitch, you have a better chance of sealing the deal.
