Due to the UK credit crunch, Caravan Holidays on the up
With the current credit crunch affecting the UK holiday maker more people are getting back to their childhood roots and heading to the many UK coasts for a caravan holiday.
A caravan holiday is a perfect way to enjoy local attractions and beautiful scenery that the UK has to offer.
Caravan Holidays in the UK are on the up due to the current financial climate as predicted.
As well as the financial benefits, a UK holiday is also benefiting the environment, with all the climate talk surely this can help your carbon footprint?
A lovely part of the UK is in South Wales where I frequent quite often on my travels, there is a lovely caravan park near Tenby in Pembrokeshire called Kiln Park operated by Haven Holidays, and I've visited the park numerous times and find that the location is ideal for the family and within reach of the large golden sandy beach.
Accommodation at the park ranges from superior to prestige caravans, so depending on the level of luxury and space required these are good choices, as a family of 3, I found the superior level of caravan was perfect, although if you want more facilities and a slightly larger caravan choose the next level up, the superior plus caravan model.
Each caravan has the same base facilities such as shower room & toilet, kitchen area, which is perfect for those meals in as there is an onsite convenience store which caters from all the basics needed to cook in the caravan.
The caravan park itself has many facilities onsite to keep even the most energetic of family busy.
Evening entertainment is aplenty at Kiln Park so won't fall short of any expectations you may have, our family took a trip last year in July and was fortunate to catch a comedy performance one evening, the comedian had everyone in stitches and another evening a variety act was on which the family really enjoyed. One thing we had been told that these performances are seasonal and run in July & August, the dates can differ as to when they are on.
Other fun activities include daytime shows such as pantomimes, these are available from July to August, and other family shows from the parks mascots run throughout the season which is open from March to November.
From the indoor and outdoor pools for swimming activities, of course you can't be certain of the weather in the UK so the outdoor pool is subject to the weather.
All in all a caravan holiday in the UK is not only an eco-friendly holiday but also pumps our cash back into our UK economy.
