Have you prepared enough before you go for your interview.
Before you go for your interview.
As you get the phonecall that says we need you to come for an interview. Think about what things you could be asked by your potential employers. And attempt to be as natural as you can be, if you act differently form how you normally are people soon see through you. When you answer any questions on the interview answer honestly its no good pretending you have certain grades if you don’t, most companies check.
What do you feel you can give to the job?
Think about your positive’s and negatives. With positives try not to look arrogant with your answers, talking in the third person is a useful way of appearing modest but positive in your answers “My friends tell me…..”, “My work colleagues say that im…….”. If you are asked about your negatives turn things into positives by saying “collegues tell me that I work to hard…..” or “that im very meticulous…….”
What are your reasons for wanting to work here?
After you have looked at their website or talked to somebody that works there, you will know what it is about the company that you like and how well you feel you would fit in there. Saying that the company is the place you would like to further your career and would enjoy the challenge of the role.
If you are asked, Why you are leaving your present role?
Don’t be negative about your present employer, this might make the interviewer feel you are a troublesome employee. Use words like “ready for a new challenge” to let them know you are wanting to progress with your job path.
