Half term holidays see rapid increase.
Those families looking to go on holiday during half term are likely to see a vast increase. It is estimated that the price of holidays during the holidays are going to increase by 80% but it is unknown how much this will affect parent’s decisions.
People looking for holidays will have a shock when they see the prices and with half term set to start on the 24th May, parents will be looking to take their children on a short break to one of the many destinations available. A good example is a 4 star hotel in Faro, half board and travelling on the 21st May for seven nights which would normally cost £356 per person. However, the same package a week later would cost £638 per person (a 79% increase).
With the rise in costs people should not be discouraged totally as it is normal for prices to increase during the holidays (even though not normally that high). Customers can still find cheap holidays to their favourite destinations as there are a number of deals around. Not all companies will increase their prices so looking around for the best deals is imperative.
There are also a wide range of all inclusive holidays available, to those looking to relax in the confinement of their hotel surroundings. With all inclusive holidays, you will not have to pay for much once you have arrived at your resort; food and drink are included in the price and can be perfect for families.
