Mysterious Phoenix Lights
On March 13, 1997 mysterious illumination became visible over Phoenix in Arizona. I happened to be there when the mystifying event took place. Although authorities are trying to make you think that these were just military flare, some people say there is much more to the tale.
There were hundreds of people who noticed an enormous triangular item in the sky over Phoenix. The V-shaped thing with illumination was noticed in the sky about 8:30pm. Those lights were even videotaped and could be seen till 10:30pm. Furthermore, a lot of people took photos of the Phoenix Lights as they were called. Some say the lights were the size of a football field, others state they were almost a mile long. Moreover, none of the military officers could give any answers and seemed puzzled when they were contacted on account of the object. There was a grave effort to investigate this case of 1997, but with very minute results since the military authorities prevented the investigation from being started.
Gigantic triangular items have always been a considerable part of the UFO phenomenon since such objects were noticed for the first time. Some researchers say that the triangle lights date to prehistory and even refer to sightings registered as seen in the late 1800s. Most observers at that time presumed that they were some kind of experimental kites. Next, there were all those mysterious triangle sightings in the middle of the 20th century, with and without illumination. Two of the most well-known were connected with the U.S. and British Military.
In 1952 military personnel that participated in one of NATO operations observed a triangular shaped item moving in the skies between Denmark and Norway. Those who saw it stated that the object produced an intense white light. Moreover, in 1955 a dim colored boomerang floated totally still over Lasham Airfield, Hampshire, in England, at the time of the National gliding competitions. Observed by qualified military officers, experienced civilian pilots and just spectators, the item floated for half a minute and then moved off to the southwest.
