Five, the lamp should be turned off around five minutes before turning off the projector as this will allow the fan to cool the unit down. Six, keep the projector motionless when at all possible because the filament in the lamp is very delicate. Seven, auto standby is useful for making sure the lamp is not left on when the viewing has finished.
