One of the main reasons why there is so much money being spent in the economy is because of the amount of affluent people living in the UK. The UK is known for its high intake of immigrants in to the country but many people overlook the fact that more of those coming to the UK are actually significantly wealthy. These wealthy people settle in various towns and cities up and down the country and spend large amounts of money in society, in turn helping the economy and driving retail sales.
