1)Disengageable Dies: These dies let you punch a document of any length, all the way up to 14 inches with one punch. The machine's open-throat also make it possible for you to punch a longer document with the Megabind 2's two-step punching system.
2)Depth of Margin Control: . The system's depth of margin control gives you the ability to choose the distance of your punch- holes from document's edge. This is an excellent feature for a perfect punch - every time.

Sprial O wire can be more difficult to find than plastic comb binding or even standard twin loop wire. And if you need standard 3:1 pitch wire at all for the machine, you will not be able to buy this easily. So sourcing the proper binding materials for this system is very important.
This machine has a manual punch, which works beautifully for the mid-sized projects, but may not be the right system for higher volume users. In this case, an electric punch is probably a better choice. It is also critcally important to keep in mind that the horizontal wire closer can be very difficult to work with and its hard to learn how to use it properly as compared to a vertical closer that most Akiles wire binders have.
Once you understand these limitations, however, the Megabind 2 is still a great choice and good value for the money. Among plastic-comb binders, it should be at the top of anyone's list. This binder lets you use spiral O wire, plastic combs or even ZipBind spines, which are great for heavy usage.
Strong construction is a wonderful feature, but a user much be careful about how the Megabind 2 is used. For instance, the Megabind 2 should not be used for punching anything in addition to 2 clear covers at once, or certainly to attempt to punch through wood, metal, or anything other than paper or plastic.
So taking everything into consideration, the Megabind 2 is a great choice for you.
