It is true that you can challenge the Credit Bureaus for items reported on your credit history, yet that doesn’t guarantee that they will be removed from your credit history. While you are in the process of repairing your bad credit, there are a few things to bear in mind: credit repair only addresses past items so make sure to stay current on all your financial obligations at all time. One time late payment will undo all the work (and cost) you have placed in repairing the past negative items. Also, make sure to not open new credit lines or apply for new credit during the repair period. Applying for new credit will appear as inquiries on your credit and negatively impact your credit status.
