Infrastructure costs cause this increase in price because of the limitations it puts on usage of such type to large business facilities. The cost of using video conferencing has decreased due to advances in technology. This decrease has allowed smaller establishments to utilize this service. Although there has been an increase in small business use, not everyone takes advantage of this teleconferencing tool because of the need for a television and camera for all parties participating in conferences. This tool would be cost effective only for those who hold frequent meetings, and can perform regular maintenance on the infrastructure.
