Wedding Candy

Make Your Big Day Memorable For All With Wedding Candy: You can be sure to expect a vast array of decorations and commemorative touches when you're dealing with weddings. Weddings seem to always have balloons, ribbons and flowers, but you will find a variety of awesome candies to choose from also. There is usually a special table or tables in the reception hall filled with candy for the guests to eat while waiting for dinner to be served, or else for them to take home.

Brides sometimes forego a wedding cake for the sake of a more imaginative candy buffet, where guests can select desserts themselves and take a sampling home in a draw-string organza bag.

For your perfect wedding, you will desire a perfect candy display as well. Make sure you display the message of everlasting love that a wedding should bring, as well as match the colors of your wedding.

The candy is not the only focus of a candy display, however; the candy must be featured in a way that will make the treats memorable and classy. We have listed a few possible suggestions:

- Directly displayed on the plates: This is a popular candy display that is seen at many weddings. Wrap the candies so they will help to set off the table as well.

- A nice webbed netting can be a great way to display your candies: Just make sure they're easy to open!

- Display boxes: These are at the more expensive end of the candy spectrum. However, you may use this type of display as a favor for the wedding. You don't have to place wrapped candy in these boxes, yet you may think about ways in which to decant candies from the bag, in order to not contaminate them with your hands. These boxes will be a constant reminder of your special day for your guests!

Now that presentation ideas are out of the way, attention should be focused on the candy that your guests will actually be served. Of course there will be options due to the uniqueness of each bride and groom, but here are some tried and true ideas.

- Kisses: This chocolate candy made by Hershey's is great for a wedding and the name alone says it all. Hershey's expanded upon the idea and now produces Hugs for white chocolate lovers. You can also find chocolate covered almonds.

- Mints: Wedding appropriate mints are never in short supply, and may be the perfect refreshment for your guests that will participate in a romantic after-dinner dance. Favor boxes can be filled with Peppermints. Mints may also be placed on a decorative plate.

Lollipops – These yummy treats make great decorative centerpieces or place settings and are available in a variety of colors and flavors.

There are so many choices when it comes to wedding candy; it’s available in all colors and varieties.
