What Is Pay Per Play Audio On Line Advertising?

The buzz surrounding the upcoming full scale launch of Audio2 Net's Pay Per Play audio on line advertising program is being heard all around the globe.

According to Charles Heflin, Director of Marketing for Pay Per Play and a partner with Audio2Net, partners have signed on in every country, (that has internet access), in the world, with the exception of North Korea, and this in only the first 7 days beginning on December 7, 2007.

The pay per play program apparently is one of the few that pays the web site publisher (or owner) for every visitor to their site. This new opportunity should generate increasing website revenue as webmasters increase their traffic volume. In addition, an affiliate program is available which will pay recurring residual income several levels deep.

The concept works as follows. A pay per play member will place an HTML code on each web site they choose. Every time that web page is opened, the visitor will hear a 5 second audio advertisement, (only one ad per visit). The information will be flashed to the pay per play host, and the site will earn one credit. In addition, affiliates will earn income from their referral member's visitors.

Here are 10 questions and answers as submitted to the Pay Per Play blog, which is hosted in the public domain. (See the 'about the author's box' for the blog address.)

1.Hi can anyone tell me where we can locate our promotion banners also how do we locate our comment as this is now my 4th comment but cant seem to locate any of them
Cant wait for launch day and am already using squeeze pages to promote this awesome opportunity
and have placed my seed on several blog sites, also on my own sites. Hope some one can help me out where the banners are. One other thing i noticed a squeeze page on a comment dedicated just to ppp,and am wondering if the sqeeze page will be available to us to promote our ppp campaign.

Tina Heflin says:
Hi Terry,
The banners are currently being produced. There will be an announcement when the squeeze page will be available.

2. Do I smell a fish here?.. .o1 cents I heard a figure of 25% on my introduction Would you please clarify this? Are we looking at another Google?
Harvey,

Tina Heflin says:
That was just used as an example. You will always earn 25% on your website and 5% on all your referrals.

3. What type of mobile code is it? A JavaScript, PHP, CGI, or other script? We need to know which additional sites to consider, since some are on Windows w/ ASP.net; others are on UNIX servers.

Tina Heflin says:
The code fragment to be embedded in the web page is a javascript (js) and it will not interfere with any existing js code on the page.

4. What else does this code do? Collect stats? Place one-year or “persistent” cookies? Other?

Tina Heflin says:
The js code will only run a small flash app to play the ad. All else is done in our server farm.

5. Where are the legal documents governing this? For example, the (BPA) privacy policy, general disclaimers, earnings disclaimers, terms of use, terms of service, etc. NOTE: With its potential high profile, we need to ensure that *our* risks are contained, including your business risks.

Tina Heflin says:
NOTHING is done on website or visitor machine except the playing of an audio (mp3) file. Also and VERY IMPORTANT, BPA
is NOT the ‘parent site’, they are the auditors that certify to the ad agencies and advertisers that we actually played the ads. All js and audio is managed on a server from a Voice2Page server farm.

6. I am all for giving the benefit of the doubt, but a lot of skepticism has been going on like: There are codes that we must place on our blogs now, but won’t get paid for them yet? These are advertisements right? So someone must have sponsored them. The main topic floated by the first ones I invited is why are we not yet getting paid for just posting the codes on our blogs, right now.
Can you address this?

Charles Heflin says:
Yes, you will place the code but no advertisement will be played until February 1st. Right now we are simply establishing the “footprint”. What this means is that we are getting as many websites as humanly possible to place the PPP code on their site… Again, no audio ad will play until February 1st.

Between now and then an independent third party company, BPA Worldwide, will scan each page that has placed the PPP code so that we can report our “reach” back to the advertisers. The larger our reach, the higher the opening bids will be on February 1st.

The PPP code is invisible & silent so we are not expecting that you will play audio ads for which you will not be paid.
To be clear… Any time an audio ad is played on your website, you WILL be paid
Charles.

7. Is there any other online marketing firms announcing this PPP opportunity to the online community at large other then yourself as Marketing Director of NetAudioAds?
Would be very nice to know if we (your subscriber list of SEO20/20) are the only one’s who are refering this opportunity to the world!
Thanks again
Antonio

Charles Heflin says:
No, there is no other way to get involved in this opportunity other than through sellingppp.com.

Just to be clear, I have partnered with NetAudioAds to create a viral Internet marketing movement. sellingppp.com is a domain under my control whose purpose is to facilitate marketing. I am not an employee of NetAudioAds but am working on a partnership level. I agreed to create the marketing buzz and help NetAudioAds to establish a large footprint before February 1st.

Many people know me from seo2020.com and my members at SEO20/20 were the first to know about this opportunity but the viral nature of this campaign has already spread to all corners of the globe. At this point many people other than SEO20/20 members are involved.

8. May I blog about this rather than just put in the promo materials? I really don’t feel comfortable just emailing it to people. At least when I post it and be transparent about it, people may or may not choose to click it right? I need your input before I post something about this, thanks!!!

Charles Heflin says:
Yes, you may blog about it. You can promote this offer in any way that works for you.

9. This definitely looks interesting. Its about time the big advertisers got involved seeing internet traffic is much less expensive for them to brand their product than the billions they spend on TV commercials. It seems these big players could pay more than 2.8 cents a play. Was 2.8 cents a play just an example or do you expect it to be more?
Thanks
Mike

Charles Heflin says:
2.8 cents is a VERY LOW number and I used that low number on the pitch page on purpose to show that even with a super low paying ad, the revenue potential is enormous.
We expect that per-play revenue will be much higher than that. Especially if we are successful in establishing a large footprint before February 1st.
Charles

10. Harley Davidson and Taco Bell are big name players. Can you give us any other big names that are on board?

Charles Heflin says:
All I am allowed to say is that we have over 66,000 advertisers and we have successfully secured the BIG 8 in advertising… Our advertisers are EXTREMELY enthusiastic about this deal.
Charles

It is through no stretch of the imagination that Pay Per Play audio on line advertising is creating such a buzz. For website publishers and aggressive affiliate recruiters, this influx of hundreds of millions of dollars into the available revenue stream could well become an incredible opportunity.

It's hard to conceive, but virtually all of the 660 million current websites (and counting) world wide are potential prospects. It should prove interesting over the next several months to follow the progress of pay per play as it introduces audio on line advertising to the internet.
